Spa Etiquette

Our Spa environment is one of tranquillity and relaxation. Please respect other guests’ right to privacy and serenity by not using your mobile phone within the Spa. The Spa is a non-smoking environment.

Arrival Time

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to complete our medical questionnaire. Please note that if you arrive late to your treatment, this time will be deducted from your therapy time.

What to Wear

Swim wear is compulsory in all areas of the spa. Bathrobes, slippers, towels and lockers are provided to all guests. Hotel guests may prefer to change in their rooms and arrive to the spa in their bathrobes.

Cancellation Policy

We request 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your day/treatment(s) to avoid cancellation charges. In the unfortunate event that you must cancel or postpone your confirmed booking within a 48-hour notice period, the hotel reserves the right to charge the full amount. The hotel will always endeavour to avoid cancellation fees becoming necessary by re-selling the treatment room slot.

Age Restrictions

Guests must be 16 years old and above to use the spa facilities. 18 years old and above when using the Gym facilities. During the school holidays children under 16 years must always be accompanied by an adult when using the pool. Please note: children are prohibited from using the sauna & steam room and access to the jacuzzi is limited to children aged 8 years and above. 30-minute facials and nail treatments are available to guests aged between 16-18 years old when accompanied by an adult.

Advisory Medical Note

Please note that the sauna, steam room and vitality pool are NOT suitable for guests under 16 years of age, during pregnancy or if under medical supervision. If you are undergoing medical treatment, or think that you may be pregnant, please advise at the time of your visit. Please note that certain treatments are suitable from the second trimester only. Please contact the spa team for more information.

Important Note

The pools are operated under strict water hygiene parameters involving small quantities of chemicals such as chlorine. The presence of the carefully controlled chlorine and ph levels may however result in irritation to people with sensitive skin. To avoid disappointment, we advise that all treatment choices are made in advance. Guests choosing their treatments on the day may have a limited treatment menu.

Please be aware that we employ both male and female therapists.

DRESS CODE

On arrival, we will provide you with a robe, towel and flip-flops for your comfort during your visit. Swimwear should be worn at all times when using The Bath House facilities.

SPA ETIQUETTE

The Spa & Bath House is a place of peace and tranquility. Please be aware that we want our guests to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and a moment of quiet away from the noise of the outside world. We would request the use of mobile telephones to be avoided.

PAYMENT

Payment in full is required upon booking. A discretionary 12.5% service charge is applied to all treatment bookings, to be settled on departure.

We welcome guests over 16 years old for treatments with signed consent from parent or guardian. We are unable to offer the use of our pool facilities at The Bath House to children under 16 years old, other than during school holidays, please ask for details.
